As you’d expect, there are Cheshire farm shops and farmers’ markets all along the Sandstone Trail.
Cheshire is famous for its cheeses, fresh fruit and vegetables, local and homemade produce. For real, slow food, you can’t get much better.

Cherry Tree Farm Shop

Eddisbury Fruit Farm

Rose Farm Shop

Jax Country Produce
Farm shop, restaurant and bistro just below the Sandstone Trail at Bulkeley. Suppliers of free range farm produce, available in bulk for businesses or in small amounts for the general public. Cholmondeley Castle Farm Shop

Farmers’ Markets
Farmers’ markets are one of the best ways to find and buy local produce.
Local produce can’t be beaten for freshness, variety and taste. It supports the local economy and is as ‘green’ as it gets, with minimal packaging and virtually zero ‘food miles’. Plus, it often tastes amazing.
